Frequently Asked Questions

Healthcare institutions across the Asia Pacific region that have implemented environmental hygiene and IPC programmes may apply. Both single sites and hospital networks are welcome.

Applications open in Q1 and close in Q3 each cycle. Shortlisted institutions are reviewed by an independent panel of IPC experts before finalists are announced.

There is no fee to apply. AEHEA is supported by APSIC and its partners to keep participation open to institutions of all sizes.

Entries are evaluated on commitment to IPC, evidence of innovative practices, measurable outcomes, staff engagement and the overall quality of care delivered.

Currently applications are institution-led. Peer nominations may be submitted as supporting letters within an institution's own entry.
